I second this feature.

ZigVersion is wonderful and I've been giving it a thorough workout So far, I've only wished for three minor things to be improved.
First has to do with how the status of files is displayed and making it easier to see changes at a glance. Currently, it's a simple text character: A, M, ?, etc. and when you're dealing with a ton of files at a time that have been modified, it can be challenging to work with.
To make it easier to discern what's what, it could be as simple as creating a set of small colored icons displayed in the status column. Or perhaps color coding the lines depending on state.
It would also be helpful of the parent folders up the tree for any given file were highlighted in some way as well so I know there are changes down the tree if folders are collapsed.

Secondly, I really wish the Changed Files toggle would remember my folder open/close states when I dismissed it
