I'm happy to hear our client helped you out! You can 'donate' simply by using it and providing us feedback! (and tell everyone you know about ZigVersion  ).
Keyboard shortcuts: Yeah, we need to add those still. We have a ticket for keyboard shortcuts, I just added your suggestion of cmd-o.
Settings in a document: Do you mean a way to open a set of windows immediately in our app? Like a text file with a list of urls in it, and a special extension for our app to open?
Add, drag-n-drop: The 'add' menu item you see is actually for adding unversioned files to an already checked out working copy; we don't yet have a way to import new stuff into the repository. (And it's confusing that you can see the command on other stuff. We need to hide it.)
But like you say, the best way to do this would be simply dragging a folder onto ZigVersion - this is actually what we're working on right now, so expect to see it in the next release.
