Re:Edit properties? - 2007/03/19 14:14 Are there any other properties you wanted to be able to modify?

We use a bunch of custom properties in our workflow. We have an automatic promotion process set up to push documents to test servers when they are checked in, and custom properties are used to define which server to use for a particular project. Currently we set these from the command line, but it would be nice to have access to this from the GUI.

I know TortoiseSVN's solution to this is a fairly simple tabular dialog. This would be an advanced feature, for sure, so maybe hidden by default.

Re:svn:externals & svn:needs-lock - 2007/03/24 07:29 I second that. These are the few features that are keeping me using the CLI. I have been using ZigVersion for my home use, and been quite happy. But these features keep me from using it at work.

Also, is there a way to tag a release in one operation? I know that dragging a directory from one location to another gives me the option to copy or move (very nice!), but it doesn't seem that I can rename in during the process. Basically, is there a way to do this:

svn cp trunk tags/release-0.5

Re:svn:externals & svn:needs-lock - 2007/03/24 07:41 Err, cancel that comment about the copy/rename issue. I have been trying out about every subversion client I can get my hands on, and I think I am confusing problems I am having with each one . But, so far I have been the most happy with ZigVersion...it is looking to be a really good option!

svn:externals + 1 - 2007/06/08 14:22 Count one more vote for externals. And certainly general property editing would be even nicer.

per drag-n-drop? - 2007/06/08 14:24 It wouldn't even need an explicit interface: Just drag a folder from one repository to a working copy should give you the option to check it out as external.

Re:per drag-n-drop? - 2007/12/11 07:43 Just wondering where things were with the ability to edit properties, or, more specifically, the needs-lock and external props...
