I am getting "Connection closed unexpectedly"

svn+ssh://192.168.0.111/usr/svn/caff

works

svn+ssh://192.168.0.111:22/usr/svn/caff

gives me the error

(also several others on different local machines running on different ports, but I thought this case was most instructive)
